Betty Lee Davis

            Betty Lee (Sherrill) Davis, 88, of Farmington passed away July 15, 2016 at Parkland Hospital in Farmington. She was born November 24, 1927, in Annapolis, to the late Sherman and Zora (LaPlant) Sherrill.

            She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Davis, one brother, R. D. Sherrill; two sisters, Hilda Govro, and Yvonne Seitz.

            Betty is survived by her two sons, Larry Davis of Farmington, Jack Davis and wife Rhea of Park Hills; four grandchildren, Melanie Davis, Marta Vishy and husband Mike, Christa McKinney and husband Todd, and Sarah Hand; six great-grandchildren, Jake Vishy, Max and Anna McKinney, Noah, Maggie, and Grace Hand; brother, Donald “Bud” Sherrill and wife JoAnn; sister, Imogene Lannert; sister-in-law, Virginia Sherrill; and brothers in-law, Francis Govro and Fred Seitz.

            Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Monday, July 18, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The service will be held in the C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel, Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mike Harrison officiating. Interment will follow at Annapolis Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Annapolis Cemetery.
