Betty Jane Warden

   Betty Jane Warden of Bonne Terre, passed away March 4, 2022, at Mercy Jefferson in Festus at 93 years of age. She was born October 16, 1928, in St. Louis, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Bertha (Gier) Miller; husband,  Floyd G. Warden; daughter, Shirley Mae (John) Smith; granddaughter, Mara Smith; sisters, Ula (Leo) Boyer, Dorothy Miller, Ruby (Paul) Coleman, Anna (Lester) Wall; brothers. Johnny (Elma) Miller, Paul (Margie) Miller; and brother-in-law, Mick Penberthy.

   Betty is survived by her daughter, Mary (Ron) Barber; grandchildren, Christina (Jeff) Nail, Jamie (Dennis) Pyeatt, Marlena (Charlie) Skaggs, Melissa (Jeff) Walker; siblings, Lynn (Marcella) Miller, Joyce Penberthy; sister-in-law, Jan Miller; many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

   Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 from 4:00 PM to the start of the service at 6:00 PM with Father James Holbrook officiating. Visitation will continue until 8:00 PM.  Burial will be on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Cemetery. Dinner to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bonne Terre.
