Betty Jean Rauch passed away Thursday, November 5 at St. Joe Manor in Bonne Terre at the age of 93 years. She was born October 22, 1927 in St. Louis, the youngest of four children born to Delmar and Valenta Binsbacher. In addition to her parents and her siblings (Delmar Binsbacher, Val Roy Binsbacher and Delores Binsbacher Schild), she was preceded in death by her beloved husband and sons Bernard E. “Bernie” Rauch, Bernard E. Rauch, Jr. and Gary Wayne Rauch.
Betty came to the Farmington area from St. Louis almost 50 years ago. Upon the death of their sons, Betty and Bernie devoted themselves to their church, Community Christian Church of Farmington. The love, support, and mentoring that Betty bestowed upon various members of the congregation was exemplary and she will long be remembered for her many acts of generosity and kindness.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her including a sister-in-law Jeane Romberger; daughter-in-law Linda (Rauch) McReynolds; her beloved friend Ron Bennett; three nephews Valroy (Barb) Binsbacher, Dennis Binsbacher, Michael Binsbacher; five nieces Linda (Russ) Schild-Jones, Janet Binsbacher, Jane Binsbacher, Cheryl (Bruce) Glickstein, Beth (Robert) Miller; and by her church family.
Graveside service will be held at Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Farmington on Monday November 9th at 2pm. Face masks and social distancing are required at all times.
