Mrs. Betty J. 'Boyd' Howlett passed away early Saturday afternoon, February 22, 2014, at Farmington Presbyterian Manor, after a 15 month battle with brain cancer. Betty was preceded-in-death by her husband, H. L. Howlett; her parents, M.C. & Ruby Boyd and 1 brother, Brian Boyd.

Betty was a member of Farmington First Baptist Church and longtime Farmington resident. Betty worked in medical records until her retirement and then frequently volunteered in the community.

Survivors include a daughter, Pam (& Andrew) Bova, of the St. Louis metro area and 3 grandsons. Betty was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend.

Betty's family wishes to express their sincere thanks for the kindness & support of the staff at Presbyterian Manor, Presbyterian Hospice and Mercy Cancer Center.

Per Betty's request, there will be NO VISITATION -or- SERVICES.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society and can be sent to Taylor Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc. - PO Box 12 - Farmington, MO. 63640-0012
