Mrs. Barbara E. "Betty" Crow Griffin passed away Tuesday evening, January 5, 2015, at Parkland Health Center, Farmington, at the age of 93 years and 9 months. Betty was born on April 5, 1922, in Fredericktown, and was the daughter of Edwin Terry Conrad and Barbara Elizabeth 'Magill' Conrad. Also preceding-in-death were : her first husband, Wayman Detring Crow in 1981; Her second husband, Harvey Lynn Griffin; and a brother, George Conrad.

Betty married Wayman Detring Crow on May 14, 1943, in Libertyville. She received a Bachelor's Degree from Washington University, with a Master's Degree from Southeast Missouri State University and taught at Washington and Jefferson Elementary Schools in Farmington. She also served as Principal at Jefferson Elementary. Since retirement she has had time to enjoy and love her children, spouses, grandchildren & great-grandchildren. After retirement she managed the family cattle farm near Libertyville. She was a member of Mineral Area Retired Teachers; The St. Francois County Historical Society. She was a longtime, faithful member of Libertyville Methodist Church and the Women's Society.

Survivors Include : a daughter, Mary Janet (& R. C.) Clevenger, of Mora, New Mexico. A son, John Wayman (& Nancy) Crow, of Farmington. 4 grandchildren: Jerry (& Joy) Crow; Sharon (& Brian) Reeves; Terry (& Trish) Crow; Tina (& Bruce) Reesman. Also, 9 great-grandchildren: Becca & Matt Crow; Corrine, Evan, Caroline & Rachel Reeves. Mara & Ben Crow and Isabeau Reesman.

Visitation : Friday, 5-8 p.m. Visitation resumes, Saturday @ 8:00 a.m.

Funeral : Saturday, 11:00 a.m., January 9, 2015

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Eddie Bone officiating

Interment follows at : Libertyville Christian Cemetery - Libertyville, MO.
