Beth Harrington

Beth Harrington, 65, of Bismarck, passed away June 2, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family and friends.  She was born November 25, 1958, in Bonne Terre, to the late Don “Baldy” and Dorothy “Dot” (Nicholson) Cassidy.  Beth was the former manager of Casey’s General Store in Elvins.  She loved traveling, shopping, gambling and Christmas was her favorite time of the year.  However, Beth’s favorite past times were spending time with family, friends and most of all, her grandchildren.

 She was preceded in death by her parents; and one daughter, Amanda Don Grounds.

Beth is survived by her husband, Edward “Eddie” Harrington; children, LeeAnn Fisher (fiancée, Michael Simon), Chad Grounds and wife Tara; grandchildren, Jacob Fisher (fiancée, Jessey Crawford), Karlee Fisher, Gage Grounds and Jaxson “Best Friend” Grounds; sisters, Kathy Jones and husband Larry, Julie Hulsey and husband Randy; special uncle, Alan Nicholson and wife Paula; special nieces, Jenna Lacy, Jessica Hulsey and Jamie Currington; special friends, Sandy Jaco and Dena Hart; many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends also survive.

Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Wednesday, June 5, 2024, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.  The visitation will resume Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 9:00 AM until the service time of 1:00 PM.   Ernie Elders will be officiating with Pastor Tony Petrie assisting.  Interment will follow at Pendleton Cemetery in Doe Run.
