Bert Barbey

Bert Rowe Barbey, 83, of Valles Mines passed away May 1, 2021 at Southbrook Nursing Home. He was born July 20, 1937 in rural Bonne Terre to the late George and Helen (Rowe) Barbey.

Bert was preceded in death by his wife June (Cameron); his parents; brother, Francois (Jr.); and daughter-in-law, Deborah Barbey. He is survived by his daughter, Brenda (Kevin) Ward of Desloge; son, Mitchell (Jennifer) Barbey of Valles Mines; grandchildren, Rebecca (Mathias) Psalmonds, Matthew (Ashley) Barbey, Natalie (Chase) Holland, Catherine Burghoff Barbey, Elizabeth Barbey, Jack Barbey; great-grandchildren, Mattilynn, Jarod, Ava, and Alexa.  "He will be dearly missed by all."

 Visitation will be Tuesday, May 4, 2021 from 4 pm to 8 pm at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Visitation will resume Wednesday May 5, 2021 from 9 am until time of services at 11 am  at C.Z. Boyer & Chapel in Bonne Terre with Rev. David Rispoli officiating. Interment will follow at Marvin Chapel Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy memorials may be made to Marvin Chapel Cemetery. C.Z. Boyer and Son request masks or facial coverings to be worn at all times.
