Mrs. Bernice Cochran passed away Aug. 30, 2004, at MARMC, Farmington, at the age of 87 years, 6 months & 9 days. Bernice was born Feb. 2, 1921, in Doe Run, to Charles & Opal 'Westover' Flanery. Also preceding were: her husbands, Lee Thurman; Guy Harvey Roux & Lou Cochran; 2 Sisters: Rowena Crouch Hill & T. Lee Flanery Baker. 1 Brother: C. Radford Flanery & 2 Sister-In-Laws: Dot Flanery & Peggy Flanery. Bernice was a member of Farmington First Baptist Church. Survivors Include: 2 Brothers - Darrell M. Flanery, of Lincoln City, OR; Elton C. (& Mary) Flanery - of Baltimore, MD; 2 Step-Sons: Glen Roux, of Bismarck & Dennis (& Brenda) Cochran, of Farmington; 2 Grandchildren: Linda (Mrs. Jim) Easter, of Park Hills; Mike (& Nancy) Roux, of Illinois; 5 Great-Grandchildren & 2 Great, Great-Grandchildren. 2 Nephews: Paul (& Terrie) Crouch, of Union, MO; Wayne (& Christie) Crouch, of Festus, MO; 1 Niece: Ann Chesire, of DeSoto; 7 Great-Nieces: Angela Clifton, of Pevely, Brandy Crouch, of Festus; Jeanne & Penney Crouch, of Union; Samantha Chesire, of DeSoto; Kim (Mrs. Mike) Graves, of St. Louis; Stacey (Mrs. Joe) Corrigan, of St. Louis. 3 Great-Nephews: Anthony (& Stephanie) Crouch, of Festus; Gabriel Chesire, of DeSoto; Jason (& Jessica) Vuylspeke, of St. Louis. 2 Great, Great-Nieces & 1 Great, Great-Nephew. Also surviving are many other Family & Friends. Visitation Thursday, 3-8 pm. Visitation resumes Friday morning at 7 am & funeral Friday, 11 am at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Dr. William C. Miller officiating. Interment at K-P Cemetery, Farmington. Memorials to: * Farmington Senior Center; * Farmington Ministerial Alliance &/or * American Cancer Society.
