Mrs. Bernice Ann (Strange) Spangler was born to the union of James and Hannah (Buckley) Strange, December 20, 1935, in St. Louis, Missouri. Bernice entered into rest on November 24, 2017, at the age of 81 years, 11 months and 4 days. She is preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Jack Leonard Spangler.

Bernice was an avid reader, she enjoyed gardening, painting, ceramics, canning and cooking for friends and family. Bernice assisted her husband, Jack, at Spangler Cycle until their retirement. Bernice was a foster mother to many children and extended her home to many in need. Bernice served as a Girl Guard Leader through the Salvation Army and was an active member in the Parent Teachers Association.

Surviving are four children, Deborah Ann Spangler, of St. Louis; David (Audrey) Spangler, Diana (Craig) Blocker, and Michael (Donna) Spangler, all of Farmington. Six grandchildren, Daniel, Joshua and Rachel Spangler, Aaron and Andrew Barnes, and Aaron (Erin) Cureton, all of Farmington, along with nine great-grandchildren

Visitation Starts : Tuesday, 10 am @ Community Christian Church of Farmington (700 No. Carleton Street)

Funeral : Tuesday, 1:00 p.m., November 28, 2017

@ Community Christian Church of Farmington, with Rev. Thomas Reagan officiating.

Interment follows at : Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Ste. Genevieve County, Missouri
