Barry Perry

Barry Perry, 70 of Irondale, passed away February 26, 2014 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. He was born April 12, 1943 in St. Francois County to the late Gilbert Hiram and Irene Gladys (Dixon) Perry. He achieved numerous awards for showing horses as well as a Life Time Achievement for Horsemanship. Barry was also a partner in The Farmington Sale Barn.He is preceded in death by parents, two sisters, Delores Perry and Marlene Barbee; two brothers, Gordon Buddy Perry and Kenneth Perry.Barry is survived by son, Gary Perry of Irondale; three grandchildren, Brandi (Mrs. Chris) Portell, Justin McClain, and Cassie McClain; three great-grandchildren, Alexis, McKinley, and Nichole; siblings, Bob Perry and wife Velma, Darlene Moore, Kay Abram and husband Bill; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and neighbors.Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Friday, February 28, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The service will be in the C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel, Saturday, March 1, 2014, at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Big River Cemetery in Irondale.
