Barbara Harter

Barbara (Gress) Harter, 69 of Desloge, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Barnes Jewish Hospital.She was born December 4, 1942 in Desloge.She was a member of St. Marys Orthodox Church of Desloge. She was preceded in death by parents, Nicholas and Mary (Kondradt) Gress; and spouse, Edgar J. Harter. Barbara is survived by daughters, Marie (Braswell) Wright of Cape Girardeau, Natalie (Braswell) Smith of Fredericktown; grandchildren, Sarah, Rodney and Monica Smith; two great grandchildren, Carter and Sophia; one sister, Michelle Gress of Illinois.The family will be accepting friends at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.The service will be held Friday, November 16, 2012 at C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel, 11:00 AM with Father Christopher Phillips officiating.Interment will follow at St. Marys Orthodox Cemetery in Park Hills.
