Barbara C. Gillam

Barbara Carol Gillam, 70, of Park Hills passed away September 19, 2010, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born June 2, 1940, in Desloge to the late Otis and Jeanette (Reeves) Riley.Mrs. Gillam was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Rita Landa and JoAnn Hassel; two brothers, Bernard and Ronnie Joe Riley.Mrs. Gillam retired from Walmart after 27 years of service.She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Eugene Gillam; three sons, Kenneth Gillam and wife Linda of Park Hills, Ronald Gillam and wife Kathy of Farmington, and Michael Gillam and wife Angie of Bonne Terre; one daughter, Carolyn Gillam Coleman of Park HIlls; ten grandchildren, Justin and Kendra, Jason, Brian and Bradley, Melisa and Elisha, Keenan, Kyle and Olivia. Nine great-grandchildren, Cody, Trae, Gracie, Addison, Trudy, Dylan, Brody, Kernan and Riley. Also surviving is her best furry friend, Bingo, along with numerous lifelong friends and other relatives.Visitation will be 4 to 9 pm Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at C.Z Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Services will be 11 am Thursday, September 22, 2010 at C.Z. Boyer & Son Chapel with Rev. Doug Clinton officiating. Interment will follow at Herod cemetery.
