Barb Harlan

Barbara “Barb” Marie (Ellis) Harlan, age 59, of French Village, passed away at Mercy Hospital Jefferson on January 17, 2021. Barb was born January 8, 1962 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Mike Ellis and Mary (Sanders) Bolin. Barb enjoyed being with her family and having barbeques on the beach at Goose Creek.

In addition to her parents, Barb was preceded in death by her brother, Riley Hughes III.

Barb is survived by her husband, Luke Harlan; children, Thomas Harlan, Angela Young, and Jeremy Harlan and wife Tabitha; grandchildren, Devin Harlan, C.J. Harlan, Jacob Young, Jocelyn Young, Mya Harlan, Micah Harlan, and Grayson Hedrick; sisters, Kathy Cantrell and Nora Bolin; stepsiblings, Steve and Peggy Ellis; five nephews, Brad Hankins, Zach Hankins, Matt Hankins, Clayton Loughary, and Riley Hughes IV; and many friends.

The family is planning a Celebration of Life from noon until 4 pm on Saturday, January 30, 2021 in the Hall at GOOSE CREEK 6200 OFFICE ROAD, FRENCH VILLAGE, MO. Memorial donations can be made to Goose Creek Fire Department. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.
