Audrey Jewel Yancey

Mrs. Audrey Jewel "Gran Gran" Yancey passed away Sunday evening, June 25, 2006, at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center, Farmington, at the age of 98 years & 2 months. Audrey was born April 25, 1908, in Yount, Missouri & was the daughter of Martin VanBuren Davis & Sarah 'Faircloth' Davis. Also preceding-in-death were: her husband, Firman A. Yancey, (Nov. 9, 1964); 1 Sister, Dorothy Marko & 1 Brother, Arville Davis..

Audrey was a member of Farmington: * First Baptist Church; * Eastern Star Lodge; * VFW Ladie's Auxillary & * Pythian Sisters Lodge. Audrey worked for Trimfoot Shoe Co for 26 1/2 years.

Survivors Include: 1 Son, Henry Bud (& Mary) Yancey, of Ironton; 1 Daughter, Loretta Maxson, of Farmington; 9 Grandchildren; 13 Great-Grandchildren & 6 Great, Great-Grandchildren.

Visitation: Wednesday, 5-9 pm. Visitation resumes Thursday, 7:00 a.m.

Eastern Star Service : Wednesday, 7 pm @ TAYLOR CHAPEL

Funeral: Thursday, 11 am, June 29, 2006

at: TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Dr. William C. Miller officiating.

Interment: Pendleton Cemetery, Doe Run.
