Asata Davis

Asata Wah Davis, 40, of Des Moines, Iowa passed away peacefully March 26, 2017. She was born December 4, 1976 in Greenville, Liberia to parents, Steven and Marie Wah. Ms. Davis immigrated to the United States in 2004 with her daughter, Bintou Richardson. Ms. Davis was preceded in death by her father, Steven Wah. She is survived by her mother, Marie Wah, her daughter, Bintou Richardson and her son, Terry Sheriff. Asata was loved by her children, family and friends but most of all by God. Asata had stated that she knew Jesus to be her Lord and Savior and her family is comforted to know they will see her again.

            A graveside service will be held at Hillview Memorial Gardens in Farmington on Friday, April 21, 2017. Local arrangements are under the direction of C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home.
