Artie L. Detring passed away Tuesday night, December 5, 2017, at Mercy Jefferson Hospital in Festus, Missouri, at the age of 81 years & 4 days. Artie was born on December 1, 1936, at Fort Douglas, Arkansas, and was the daughter of Homer Stone and Leva 'Terry' Stone. Also preceding in death was a brother, Noble Stone.

Artie was a member of Farmington First Baptist Church. She was a Master Gardener. Artie was a member of: The Evening Primrose Garden Club; The Extension Club & The Night-Timers Club.

Survivors Include: a brother, Loman (& Shirley) Stone, of Farmington. A sister-in-law, Velma Stone, of Dodge City, Kansas. Nieces & nephews; Betty (& Kenny) Spease & children - Jason & Bradley; Mark (& Ginger) Stone, Brenda Rowley & children - Justin & Jennifer; David Stone & children - Tara & Christopher; and Darwin Stone (& Monica Ray), & child - Allison. Also surviving are cousins, and a Special Cousin, Doris Kay Bequette.

Visitation Starts : Monday, 12 Noon, Dec. 11, 2017

Funeral : Monday, 2:00 p.m., Dec. 11. 2017

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Dr. William C. Miller officiating.

Interment follows at : Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington
