Arthur Kobermann

Arthur James Kobermann, 60, passed from this life on April 7, 2020 at his residence in Park Hills. He was born to the late Arthur and Corinne Kobermann on March 12, 1960 in Saint Louis, where he lived most of his life. He graduated from South County Tech (Class of 1978). He was a very skilled carpenter, and a long-time member of the Saint Louis Carpenter’s Union. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and cousin/close friend, Kevin Bruch.

He is survived by his two daughters, Danielle Kobermann of Farmington and Paige Mitchell of Park Hills; his siblings, Jeff (Annette) Kobermann of Moscow Mills, Julie (Connie Mowery) Wheatley of Saint Louis, and Tim (Hope) Kobermann of Wentzville; and many nieces and nephews. 

Art was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved to camp, grill, and explore. He was a patriotic man who loved his country and the beautiful state of Missouri. His best memories were days spent in the outdoors, whether it be in the woods, on the river, or grilling in the backyard. Above all else, he was happiest when spoiling and spending time with his two daughters.

Art was a loving father, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, and friend.

A Celebration of Life for Arthur J. Kobermann will take place at a later date. Donations in honor and memory of him can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a cause that he regularly donated to during his lifetime. Arrangements under the direction of C.Z. Boyer and Son Caldwell Chapel in Park Hills.
