Arthur Hulsey

Arthur Hulsey, 78 of Park Hills and formerly of Gumbo, passed away at his residence, Wednesday, April 4, 2012.He was born August 30, 1933 in Desloge and after high school, he served his country in The United States Air Force.Arthur has been married to his long time love, for 60 years, Rhonda (Mahurin) Hulsey.He was employed for St. Joe, Pea Ridge, drove a truck for Chandler Oil and succeeded his father as County Clerk of St. Francois County for 17 years.This covered a span of 30 years, the father and son held this position for St. Francois County.Arthur was a member of the First Church of God in Desloge, Ionic Masonic of Desloge, and he loved spending time with his family as well as farming. He is preceded in death by son, Arthur Dale "Bear" Hulsey; parents Vollie and Grace L (Heady) Hulsey; brothers, Junior Dale Hulsey and Jerry D Hulsey. Arthur is survived by wife, Rhonda (Mahurin) Hulsey; daughter in-law, Carol Hulsey; daughters, Roxie (Mrs. Dave) Grimwood, Robin (Mrs. Jeff) Caldwell; son, Randy (Julie) Hulsey; grandchildren, Jeremy Lee Hulsey, Bryan Dale (Julie) Hulsey, Joshua Heath (April) Hulsey, Brent Ryan (Angie) Hulsey, Kristen Loraine (Adam) Ringwald, Melissa Ann (Aaron) Naeger, Elias David Grimwood, Jarrod Dustin (Anna) Caldwell, Jacob Drew Caldwell, Emma Jo Caldwell, Jenna Marie Hulsey and Jessica Leigh Hulsey; 13 great grandchildren he was very proud of and brother in-law, Norman (Pat) Mahurin. Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home of Desloge, Friday, April 6, 2012 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM.His service will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel, Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 11:00 AM with Rev Jim Muse and Rev Dave Aubuchon officiating.Interment will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Park Hills. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to First Church of God in Desloge.
