Arnold Edgar

            Arnold Edgar, 81, of Desloge, died Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at home surrounded by his loved ones.   He was born December 28, 1935 in Desloge, to the late Arless and Marie (Womack) Edgar. In addition to his parents, Arnold is preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie and wife Pat Edgar. 

            He is survived by his wife, Brenda Lee (McFarland) Edgar. They would have been married 60 years on January 11. Arnold is survived by four children, Randy Edgar and wife Julianne, Terry Edgar and wife Anita, Danny Edgar and wife Susi, Julie Hill and husband Chris; thirteen grandchildren, Kevin, Mindy, Ryan, Breyanne, Bradley, Tyler, Emily, Mark, Brittani, Isaac, Grant, Alison and Nolan; ten great-grandchildren, Holden, Colton, Kenlee, Kristin, Rylee, Baylee, Lillian, Thatcher, Orah and Isabella; brother, Jim Edgar and wife Paula. 

            The Family extends their sincere gratitude to Community Manor and Staff, Kindred Home Heath (Connie), Kindred Hospice (Kelly) and all the Kindred Home Health Care Family. He was a long standing member of the First Baptist Church in Desloge. He touched many hearts with his warm smile and left a legacy of memories for the family to embrace and hold dear. 

            Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 10:00 AM until service at 1:00 PM. Pastor Bradford Laubinger will be officiating. Entombment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre. Memorials may be directed to the Family Ministry Center at First Baptist Church in Desloge.
