Annie Townsend

Anna Margaret Townsend, 97 years 11 months and 4 days, passed away May 19, 2014at Maplebrook Assisted Living in Farmington. She was born June 15, 1916in Esther, MO to Guy and Ardelia Celeste (Highley) Haile. Also preceding indeath was her husband, Harry Townsend; daughter, Joanne Bloom; grandson, ThomasTuttle; great-granddaughter, Amanda Aubuchon; five sisters, Alma, Grace, Ella,Effie and Lillian; four brothers, Buford, Jerry, Shelton, and Percy;step-children, Steve, Francis, Ralph, Jean and Donnie Lindsey; sons-in-law, RoyBloom and Donald Lee.Annie enjoyed the simple things in life by spending time with her family &friends. Her joyful spirit and youthfulenergy made her the "Life of the Party" at all of the family gatherings.She is survived by her children, Carolyn Copeland, Gary Lee (Kathy) Lindsey,Dennis "Jick" (Brenda) Lindsey, Hannah Lee, Kay Outman, Dani (Bill) Bryan;nineteen grandchildren, forty four great-grandchildren and twentygreat-great-grandchildren.Visitation will be Wednesday May 21, 2014 from 4 pm to 8 pm at the C.Z. Boyer& Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Funeral Service will be 11 am Thursdayat the C.Z. Boyer & Son Chapel. Interment will follow at OddfellowsCemetery. Memorials may be directed to American Cancer Society.
