Mrs. Anna Mae 'Denman' Wampler passed away at her Farmington residence late Thursday morning, January 25, 2018, at the age of 91 years, 7 months & 27 days. Anna Mae was born on May 28, 1926, in Delassus, MO., & was the daughter of Charles Mathias Denman and Flora Belle 'Ward' Denman. Also preceding in death were: her husband, Emmett Hampton Wampler (July 1, 2015); 2 sisters, Kathryn Hawn & Ruby Bruce and 4 brothers, Leonard Denman, Ward Denman, Lewis Denman & Eugene Denman.
Anna Mae was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church of Farmington; MUMC Quilters and MUMC Women. Anna Mae volunteered at the Ministerial Alliance Thrift Store. Anna Mae also volunteered at the Stonecrest Nursing Home in Viburnum, MO., helping them to make quilts and other items.
Survivors Include : 2 daughters - Pamela (& Col. Tom) Hulsey, of The Villages, Florida, and Candace Jeffers, of Ft. Worth, Texas. A chosen daughter - Rhonda Brooks, of Andrain, Oregon. Son-in-law, Lonnie Jeffers, of Ft. Worth, Texas. 1 sister - Berneice Panchot, of Farmington. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great, great-grandchild, and numerous nieces & nephews.
Visitation : Wednesday, 6-8 pm
Funeral : Thursday, 10:00 a.m., February 1, 2018
at : Memorial United Methodist Church, Farmington, with Rev. Scott Hall officiating
Interment follows at Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery - Farmington
