Anna L. Pettus

            Anna Pettus, 99 of Desloge, passed away November 9, 2017, at Country Meadows Nursing Home in Park Hills. She was born November 1, 1918, in Sligo Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Minnie (Helms) Ferrell; husband, Olin Ted Pettus; daughter, Madonna Warren; two brothers, Raymond and Nobel Ferrell; two sisters, Bonnie Pettus and Madge Rawlins.  

            Anna is survived by daughter, Patricia “Trillie” and husband, Jim Archer of Desloge; two granddaughters, Kelly and husband Mark Thompson of Desloge, and Natalie Hawkins also of Desloge; two grandsons, Kevin Warren of Bonne Terre, Steve Warren and wife Kim of Desloge; great-grandchildren, Matthew and wife Nicole Thompson of Indiana, Jordan Thompson and Amanda Coker, Colton Hawkins, Olivia Hawkins, Justin Warren and wife Kala, and Brent Warren all of Desloge; great-great-grandchildren; Camden and Emma Thompson of Indiana, Paisley Warren, Matthew and Nola Warren all of Desloge; one nephew Richard “Abe” Rawlins and wife Gigi of Desloge; two nieces, Vicki Polk of Imperial, Bonnie and husband Randal Burch of Desloge.  

            She was a member of The First Baptist Church in Desloge. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Country Meadows Nursing Home and to Preferred Hospice Care Givers, for their care and support.  

            Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Sunday, November 12, 2017 from 12:00 PM until the service time at 2:00 PM. Reverend Bob Price will be officiating. Interment will follow at Bonne Terre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Preferred Hospice Care.
