Anita Schmidt

Anita Marie Schmidt, 84, a longtime resident ofFrench Village passed away March 19, 2014 at Southbrook Skilled Nursing Centerin Farmington. She was born June 12, 1929 in St. Louis. She was a member of theSt. Anne Catholic Church. Anita drove a school bus for the North County SchoolDistrict for numerous years.She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor L.Bender, Sr. and Christine M. (Petti) Bender; husband, Andrew A. Schmidt, Jr.;son, Andrew A. Schmidt III.Anita is survived by four children, Ronald Schmidtand wife Barbara of French Village, Diane Murphy and husband Bill of St. Louis,Kenny Schmidt and companion Tricia Sanders of French Village, Linda Hagan andhusband Chris of Festus; seven grandchildren, Tina (Matt) Hunt, Brian Schmidt,Sean (Rachel) Murphy, Jeremy (Jessica) Schmidt, Cory Schmidt, Jessica Hagan,Kyle Hagan; two great-grandchildren; brother, Victor Bender, Jr. and wifeDorothy of French Village. Visitation will be Friday, March 21, 2014 from 4:00PM until 9:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.Service will be Saturday at 10:00 AM at the St. Anne Catholic Church with Rev.Bill Baier officiating. Interment will follow at St. Anne Cemetery. Memorialsmay be made to the St. Anne Cemetery Fund.
