Alpha Moore

Alpha Moore, 94, of Park Hills, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at NHC. She was born Thursday, August 7, 1919 in Flat River to the late Everett and Edith (Moran) Montgomery. Also preceding her in death are her husband Willard Moore; three sons Jimmy Ray, Michael, and Terry Moore; two sisters Lorene Brockmiller and Thelma McCord; four brothers Clyde, Edward, James, and Charles Montgomery. She was a member of Fellowship Free Will Baptist Church.Alpha is survived by her daughter-in-laws Anna Moore and Debi Moore; three granddaughters Karen (Mrs. Jeff) Leffew, Angela (Mrs. Beau) Connell, and Amber (Mrs. Jason) Cook; four grandsons Jeff Moore, Todd Moore (Shanna), John Moore (Glenda), Kevin Moore (Cori); 23 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.Visitation will be Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Caldwell Chapel in Park Hills. Service will be Friday, November 22, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Caldwell Chapel in Park Hills with the Rev. Wayne Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Leadington.
