Allen Williams

Bert Allen Williams, Jr., 81, of Bonne Terre passed away June 15, 2012 at Parkland Health Center in Bonne Terre. He was born May 14, 1931 in Bonne Terre. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and served aboard the USS Preston during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Bonne Terre V.F.W. Post 6883.He was preceded in death by his parents, Bert Allen Williams, Sr. and Margaret (LaChance) Williams; two brothers, Burdette Williams and Joseph who died in infancy; sister, Yvonne Anderson.Allen is survived by his wife, Nancy Williams of Bonne Terre; four children, Julie Hahn of Bonne Terre, Bert Williams, III of Bonne Terre, Susan (Mrs. Donnie) Eaton of Leadwood, Michael Williams and wife Vicki of Lawrence, KS; six grandchildren, Jake, Levi, Josie, Mandy, Cameron, Dillon; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Dean Williams and wife Bernia of St. Louis, Charles Williams and wife Margaret of Chesterfield.Visitation will be Monday, June 18, 2012 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Service will be Tuesday at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. John Schneider officiating. Burial will follow at Bonne Terre Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph School or Church.
