Allen Baranovic

           Allen Gerald Baranovic, age, 60, of Bonne Terre, passed away Friday, August 20, 2021, at Barnes Jewish Hospital.  He was born on Monday, April 24, 1961, in St. Louis to the late Allen L. and Beverly J. (Wilkson) Baranovic.  Allen was the minister of Bonne Terre Church of Christ, where he served for 11 years and loved his church family.  He never met a stranger and enjoyed going to watch Blues Hockey games.  Allen was known as “Big G” by his grandsons who were his pride and joy.

          He was preceded in death by his parents; mother in-law, Rose Embry and nephew, Ethan Hughes.         

          Allen is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Tammy (Embry) Baranovic; daughters, Brittany (Steven) Wade and Holly Baranovic; grandchildren, Scout, Rowan, and Landry Wade; siblings, Susan Baranovic and John Baranovic; uncle, Gerald Wilkson; father in-law, Les (Linda) Embry; sisters in-law, Melissa Embry and Heather (Colton) Coulter; brother in-law, Jared (Erin) Embry; several nieces, nephews, friends and church families, also survive.

          Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Saturday, August 21, 2021, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.  Visitation will resume Sunday, August 22, 2021 from 11:00 AM until service time of 1:00 PM at C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel with Rev. Randy Murphy officiating.  Interment will follow at Bonne Terre Cemetery.  Memorials may be directed to the Bonne Terre Church of Christ or Christian Family Service Council in St. Louis.
