Alexander Banas

Alexander Banas, 87, of Bonne Terre, previously So. County St. Louis, Missouri and St. Pete Beach, Florida, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ July 8, 2017.  Alex had been residing at St. Joe Manor in Bonne Terre.  He was born January 1, 1930 in Prague, Czechoslovakia to the late Joseph and Anna Banas. Also preceding him in death was his wife, Irene (Scharinghaus) Banas.

Alexander is survived by three sons, Steven Banas and wife Mary, David Banas and Donald Banas. Surviving grandchildren include Jeremy, Sara, Joshua, Christopher, Amy and Ryan. Great grandchildren include Blake and Abbigail.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.  Funeral service to follow viewing at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.  Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery in Affton. View obituary and share condolences online at www.www.czboyer.com
