Albert "Wayne" Bell

            Wayne Bell, 65, of Leadwood, passed away November 30, 2019, surrounded by his family and friends. He was born August 16, 1954, in Ironton, to the late Floy and Idabell (Choate) Bell. Wayne proudly served his country in the United States Army and later drove for 39 years, over the road. His favorite pastime was music and he would organize as well as host jam sessions, where ever he was needed. He loved hunting, fishing, and auctioneering. Wayne was also a lifetime member of the Gateway Country Music Association and Community Improvement Association.

            He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Herman Bell.

            Wayne is survived by his two sons, Stacy and Robert Bell; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Helen Harbison; uncle Jim (Faye) Bell; special friends, CJ and Bonnie Nipper, and Glen Recar; several nieces, nephews and other family members and friends also survive.

            Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Thursday, December 5, 2019, from 9:30 AM until the time of service at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis. Memorials may be directed to the family in care of C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
