Albert Christopher

Albert Willis Christopher, 77 of Park Hills, passed away July 11, 2012 at his residence.He was born October 8, 1934 in Desloge to the late Lawrence and Effie (Heady) Christopher.Albert retired from Yellow Freight after 35 years and was a member of the Teamsters Union. He was also a member of Gumbo Assembly of God Church. He was also preceded in death by wife, Sara (Autry) Christopher; a daughter in infancy Kathleen Christopher; and daughter in-law, Carmen Christopher. Albert is survived by children, Sherrie Day Christopher (David Glascoff) of St. Louis, Michael Christopher (Kelli Dotson) of Park Hills, and Chuck Christopher (Beth Hovis) of Park Hills; six grandchildren, Amy, Andy, Mindy, Kent, Sara and Sam; three great-grandchildren, Mia, Avery and Carson; brothers, Tommy Christopher, David (Tammy) Christopher, Donald (Pat) Christopher; sisters, Betty (Elmer) Mincher, Peggy Lawson and husband Roger Frank, Alta (Rodney) Carron, Bonnie Marshall-Youmans. Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home of Desloge, Friday, July 13, 2012 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.Services will be held in the C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 11:00 AM, with J.C.
