Alan Wood Moore

Mr. Alan Wood "Woody" Moore passed away July 18, 2013, in Farmington, at the age of 64 years, 10 months & 13 days. Alan was born on September 5, 1948, in Mexico, Missouri, and was the son of Paul Matthews Moore and Doris Gayle 'Wood' Moore. Also preceding-in-death were: 2 sisters - Paula Shilling & Barbara Thornton.

After graduation from Mark Twain High School in Center, Missouri, Alan attended and played football at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. Alan worked most of his life in the cemetery business and he was an avid low-handicap golfer.

Survivors Include: 3 daughters - Mackenzie Moore, of Florida; Madelynn Moore, of Florida and Leslie Moore, of Indiana. A sister, Martha (& Jerry) Briscoe, of New London, MO. A brother, James L. "Jimmy" Moore, of Vandalia, MO; 3 Grandchildren; several Nieces & Nephews and Dear Friends - Ed & Linda Scrogin.

There will be No Visitation

Graveside Services will be : Saturday, 10:00 a.m., July 27, 2013

at : East Lawn Cemetery in Mexico, Missouri, with Rev. John Grimmett officiating.
