Adam Ray Wilson, 48, passed away January 06, 2025, at Parkland Hospital in Farmington. He was born September 07, 1976, to Chester Ray Wilson and Barbara (Ed) Lueth. Adam spent the greatest part of his youth volunteering as a firefighter for DeSoto. He often shared that the bonds created during this passion made him the man he became. It was an honor to serve alongside the members that had worked with his father and beside his brother.
He was preceded in death by his father, Chester Wilson; grandparents, Ben and Millie Wallace and Grandma Betty.
Adam spent years driving trucks for Midwest Sanitation, Coca-Cola and AmeriGas. Once he became disabled, he returned to Walmart. Adam loved his work for Walmart, interacting with the customers and his co-workers. He was taught to work hard and took great pride in the work he did. Adam attended The Bridge Community Church in Bonne Terre faithfully. It was here he found his home with the church and the homes of his community group, while still sharing a bond with those in the church he grew up in.
Adam's greatest joy was his family and his dogs. He loved cheering his kids on whether they were working behind the scenes on stage, on the court or field, in the gaming lab, or simply just growing in life. He always had kind words of encouragement, words of guidance, or a bit of sass to share. He was truly one-in-a-million and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara (Ed) Lueth; the "love of his life," Jennifer Bullis; five children, Emily, Hunter, Keaton, Paris, Geneveieve; brother, Michael (Julie) Wilson; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many other family members and friends.
Memorial visitation will be held at The Bridge Community Church in Bonne Terre on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, from 11:00 AM until Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 PM. Pastor Seth Durbin to officiate.
