Bob Perry

            Bob Perry, 87, passed away on March 21, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis. He was born on August 27, 1930 in Irondale to the late Gilbert “Gib” and Irene (Dixon) Perry. Bob retired after 35 years plus as a maintenance foreman for the Missouri Dept. of Transportation. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, rabbit hunting and small engine repair.  

            In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Darrell Perry; three brothers, Barry, Gordon “Buddy” and Noel Kenneth Perry; sisters, Marlene Barbee and husband Howard and Delores Perry; brother-in-law, Eddie Cash and sister-in-law, Betty (Spivey) Cash. 

            Bob is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Velma (Cash) Perry; children, Mark Perry and wife Elaine, Keith Perry and wife Judy; four grandchildren, Zachary Adam, Alex, and Kyle Perry; two sisters, Darlene (Perry) Moore and Kay (Perry) Abram and husband Bill; two brothers-in-law, Virgil Cash and wife Ruth, Leslie Cash and wife Cleta; many special nieces and nephews all survive.  

            Visitation will be held at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Friday, March 23, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 10:00 AM until service time of 11:00 AM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Desloge with Pastor Bradford Laubinger officiating. Interment will follow at Leadwood Cemetery.
